Evidence for whether a piece of writing is human
PITCHED AT THE MIAMI NIGHT ON 9 SEPTEMBER 2026
AI can now write an essay in seconds, and a detector that returns a bare percentage leaves a teacher accusing a student on a guess. Integrito, from the team behind PlagiarismCheck.org, checks writing for AI generation and plagiarism and shows how a document was actually written, so the decision rests on evidence.
When anyone can produce a fluent essay in seconds, the question a teacher faces changes from whether the work is good to whether it is the student's own. Most detection tools answer with a probability and nothing behind it, which leaves schools choosing between ignoring suspected misconduct and accusing a student on a score nobody can explain. Either mistake is costly, academically and legally.
Integrito's answer is to show the evidence rather than assert a verdict. Alongside AI and plagiarism detection, its Activity Report reconstructs how a Google Doc was written: how long each session took, when large blocks of text were pasted in and who contributed, so a student can prove their own work and a teacher can see what actually happened. It comes from the team behind PlagiarismCheck.org, an established academic integrity service, and plugs into the learning platforms schools already run.
