The honest answers.

Tickets, pitching, the directory, the newsletter, the community and partnerships. If something's not here, email hello@startupvalley.club.

01Attending events

Anyone. Founders, investors, operators, the startup-curious. If there's a ticket or an open RSVP, you're welcome. Some evenings are curated and may ask a quick question or two before confirming, but most are open to all.

It's a mix. Most pitch nights and mixers are ticketed, usually a small cover that helps cover the venue. Some events are free, typically when a partner sponsors the night. Each event page shows the price clearly.

No. You don't need an invitation to buy a ticket or RSVP. The only invite-only thing is our Slack community, which you get access to after attending your first event.

You're on the list, but free events fill up and an RSVP isn't a guaranteed seat. We over-invite slightly because not everyone shows. Arrive on time and you'll be fine.

Tickets are refundable up to 24 hours before the event. After that they're transferable, so send your spot to a friend and let the host know who's coming.

02Pitching & the directory

Get the "Pitch at the event" ticket for the night you want, then apply with your deck through the pitch application form. The slot is paid, and it comes with real support: we share our pitching guide and coach you before you go on stage, give you honest feedback on your deck, and make sure active investors are actually in the room. Every founder who pitches gets the stage and a permanent directory listing. Beyond that it is selective: the strongest startups raising right now are the ones we feature on our social media and in the biweekly investor newsletter, and the ones we introduce directly to relevant investors and angels after the night. Slots are limited per night, so apply early.

A public, searchable record of every company that has presented at a Startup Valley night. Once you pitch, you get a permanent listing with your one-liner, city, stage and sector.

No, and we'd be wary of anyone who promised that. We're an events and community company, not a fund, broker or placement agent. We put you in front of the right room and list you in the directory. Whether that turns into a conversation, a customer or a check is up to you and the people you meet.

Our editorial team picks five to seven companies from each fortnight's events for the biweekly drop. There's no way to pay for a spot. It's curated on merit. Pitch well and you might make it in.

03For investors

Subscribe on the Investors page. We verify that you're an active investor before adding you. It keeps the list useful for founders. It's free, biweekly, and you can leave any time.

Never. We don't take carry, success fees or introductions fees. We make the room and the introductions; any deal you do is entirely between you and the founder, off-platform.

Many investor-focused evenings are free for verified investors. Open pitch nights and mixers may be ticketed for everyone. Check the event page.

04Community & Slack

Attend any Startup Valley event. Within a day, an invite link lands in your inbox. It's invite-only by design, with no cold sign-ups, which keeps the signal high.

Yes. Once you're in, there's no fee and no renewal. You stay as long as you're part of the scene.

Related but separate. The events have hosted 40,000 people since 2023; the Slack community is newer and growing. Think of it as the always-on layer between nights.

05Partnerships

Two ways. Sponsor an existing night ($1,000) and get a stage slot, your logo, an offer for attendees and a community post. Or have us produce a white-glove event in your name ($5,000). We handle venue, host, format and promotion end-to-end.

Sponsoring a night plugs your brand into an event we're already running. The white-glove tier is your own event, branded as yours, free for attendees, built and run by us. Most multi-city partners combine both.

Yes. Most partners book two to four cities at once. Reach out via the Partnerships page and we'll put together a calendar and a package.
