Startup Valley is an events company, not a fund or an accelerator. We're in the business of putting the right people in the same room — founders building, investors looking, operators in between — and then getting out of the way. It began in June 2023 with one pitch night in New York.
The best things in a startup's life tend to start in a room — a conversation, an intro, a "you should meet…". Most of the industry tries to manufacture those moments with conferences and badges. We think they happen better over dinner, in small numbers, with a good host.
So we run nights. Pitch nights where founders actually present. Panels worth staying for. Social mixers where the investor and the operator and the founder all end up at the same table by accident-on-purpose.
What we don't do: promise anyone a check, take a cut, or pretend a ticket buys you a term sheet. We make the room. What happens in it is yours.
Every city has a host who picks the room, the wine and who walks through the door. They are the reason a Toronto night feels like Toronto.
