PITCHING AT THE MIAMI NIGHT ON 9 SEPTEMBER 2026

Text flattens tone and video demands a face, so a lot of people say less than they mean online or say nothing at all. Voice It is built on spoken posts and spoken replies, with expressive avatars instead of cameras, so tone survives without anyone having to be camera-ready.

The two dominant formats online both cost something. Text strips out tone, which is why so much of it is misread, and video asks people to be presentable, which is why most never post. What is left is a large group of people with something to say and no comfortable way to say it.

Voice It takes the middle path: you speak, and an avatar carries the expression so the camera never has to. The recording, transcription and live-channel infrastructure is built rather than described, which for a consumer social product is the part that usually is not. The open question is the one every social product faces, whether enough people arrive at once, and that is a distribution problem rather than a technical one.
