Back-of-house software for live events
PITCHED AT THE LOS ANGELES NIGHT ON 9 SEPTEMBER 2026
Behind every concert, corporate event and touring show is a crew booked, scheduled and paid through spreadsheets, group texts and payment apps. Soundcheck Live gives agencies, production companies and venues one system for staffing gigs, running logistics and paying crew and talent.
Live events are staffed by crews that change from show to show, and the operators who assemble them run on whatever is at hand: a spreadsheet for the roster, a group chat for call times, a payment app for the money. It works until the business grows, and then every extra show adds hours of admin while crews wait to be paid. When people move on, the record of who worked where leaves with them.
Soundcheck Live is building the system of record the industry lacks, with booking, logistics, call sheets and payouts in one place. Ben Ikwuagwu spent years performing professionally and working in operations at Apple and Dell before starting it with Steven Tran. A place in TechCrunch's Startup Battlefield 200 for 2026 is the first outside signal.
