Giving mental health clinicians their admin time back
PITCHING AT THE AMSTERDAM NIGHT ON 8 SEPTEMBER 2026
A therapist's day is split between patients and paperwork, and the paperwork wins often enough that new patients wait longer for a first appointment. xCroPsych automates the repetitive part: session notes, clinical reports, assessments and the scheduling around them.
Waiting lists in mental health are usually explained as a shortage of clinicians, and partly they are. The other part is that a clinician's hour is not all clinical: notes, reports, assessments and admin consume time that no one budgeted for, and the cost lands on the patient who cannot get an appointment for weeks.
xCroPsych targets that half of the day. Notes and reports are drafted from the session, assessments and progress tracking sit in the same place as the patient record, and the workflow around appointments is automated rather than manual. It is being validated inside working practices in two countries rather than in a pilot designed for the product, which is the harder and more honest way to build clinical software.
These founders pitched at the same startup events. The room is usually the reason people find each other.
