A music franchise that talks back
PITCHED AT THE SAN FRANCISCO NIGHT ON 26 AUGUST 2026
Fans expect daily contact from the artists they follow, and studios cannot give it: they release, go quiet for months, and attention decays before the next drop. Secret Mountain is six photoreal virtual artists with original music who hold real-time conversations with fans every day, built with A. R. Rahman as a co-founding partner.
The gap between releases is where audiences are lost. A studio puts out a record and then goes quiet for months, while the platforms fans live on reward daily presence. No human artist can close that gap either, because one person in one timezone cannot be in conversation with millions of people every day, and the ones who try burn out.
Secret Mountain builds the franchise so that contact is native to it. Six virtual artists carry their own music and their own personalities and can talk to fans in real time, with A. R. Rahman shaping the music as a co-founding partner rather than lending a name to it. The company works with Google Cloud on the infrastructure behind it, and monetises through licensing, sponsorship and fan subscriptions rather than release cycles.
These founders pitched at the same startup events. The room is usually the reason people find each other.
