Peer-to-peer car rental built for Latin America
PITCHING AT THE MIAMI NIGHT ON 9 SEPTEMBER 2026
Car rental in Latin America is expensive, patchy and built around airport counters. Rentennials lets owners list the car already sitting outside and travellers book it, with the trust and insurance layer that makes strangers hand over keys.
The marketplace model for cars is well proven in the United States and largely absent from Latin America, where the supply is if anything better suited to it: plenty of underused private vehicles, expensive incumbent rental, and a traveller base that already books everything else peer to peer.
Rentennials has taken it across three countries rather than perfecting one, which is the harder path and the one that proves the model travels. Volume in the thousands of completed rentals is the part that matters, because it means the trust layer works.
These founders pitched at the same startup events. The room is usually the reason people find each other.
