Digital stamp cards that bring regulars back

PITCHING AT THE MELBOURNE NIGHT ON 9 OCTOBER 2026

Independent cafés, salons and barbers live on repeat customers, yet most still run loyalty on paper cards that get lost, forgotten and faked, leaving owners with no idea who their regulars are. PunchPass replaces the card with a tap of the phone on a small counter stamper, and gives the venue a list of customers it can actually reach.

The big chains have loyalty apps and marketing teams. A local café has a stack of paper cards, a thirty-second hunt for the right one two hundred times a day, and no way to tell a regular from a stranger. Every first-time customer who never returns is revenue walking out the door, and the owner has no data and no channel to do anything about it.

PunchPass keeps what people already understand, the stamp, and makes it digital. A customer opens the app and taps the stamper on the counter, the venue chooses how many stamps earn which reward, and the owner can see who is coming back and send a promotion on a quiet afternoon. The company started in Brisbane as one local business building for another, and its pitch to cafés is that the stamper fits on the counter and the setup takes minutes.
